About the Writer

I started this blog in 2016 with the hopes that I would grow as a writer, in any and all forms. As a college student who had(has) dreams of becoming a published author and Ph.D’d Shakespeare professor, I had a big dream and a long way to go.

I have always had a passion for writing so pursing English was a no-brainer for me, but I haven’t always been the most eloquent writer or speaker. I took to blogging to grow in my art form, and it has helped tremendously.

In May of 2018 I realized my big future plans weren’t the most attainable in a job market that was polluted with graduate school graduates who were majorly in-debt and completely jobless. Through some research and some fear, I placed myself on a new path. One that is ultimately more stable and less debt-inducing (probably). However, the goal requires me to make up a pretty substantial amount of time and because of that, I restarted my blog. The full details of this story are in my blog Restart!

Restarting my blog serviced me in multiple ways, and allowed me to start the niche blog I’ve always wanted! Lifestyle blogging always appealed to me, it’s hard work but fun, and I’m excited to see what it’ll bring.

I’m a full time college student with a part time job and a desire to create exciting, fun, and empowering content that I hope helps people and inspires a community! My old blog was all about me learning about me, but this new blog is about me being who I am and growing into that person full-force. I hope that through creatingbridgid, I can connect with you guys and you with me and we can be a whole community of loving and empowering people who lift one another up!

Thank you so much for visiting my webspace, and for taking part in my daily life. I hope you enjoy the content that fills this space as much as I do!

Happy exploring!
